US Youth Soccer National League

Scores and Standings [link]

The US Youth Soccer National League competition is for the nation's top teams in the Under-15, Under-16 and Under-17 boys and girls age groups, consisting of a total of eight teams per gender age group. The National League offers additional exposure to collegiate, professional and U.S. National Team coaches in meaningful matches.

Under-15
Baltimore Casa Mia Bays (MD) wrapped up their final weekend of League play with a 2:0 win over SCSA 93 Gold. The Bays are in first place with 17 League points, but the Under-15 Boys champion will not be decided until March 20-22 when the Under-15 Boys resume play. Grand Rapids Crew Juniors are among the top competitors for the first place spot.

The TFC 94 (NTX) and Solar Red (NTX) game was rescheduled and will played at a later date in North Texas.

Under-16
Ado Junuzovic gave GSA Phoenix 93 Red (GA) the early lead, completing a hat trick in the first 11 minutes of the game against 92 CASL Elite (NC). The rain turned to sleet and the sleet turned to snow causing the game to be called shortly after the half and GSA walked away with the 3:0 win.

The Dallas Texans Red 93 (NTX) proved their right to be called Under-16 Boys National League champions as they won 2:0 over KCFC Rangers 92-93 (KS). The game was 0:0 after the half, but Brandon Perez knocked in a Dallas goal in the 55th and teammate Cody Keyes followed with a 65th minute shot to take the game.

Blast FC (OH-S) and Chicago Fire Jrs. (IL) were evenly matched until the 61st minute when Joe Little shot one past the keeper for the Blast. Then Jonathan Holden gave Blast the 2:0 lead when he headed the ball  off the cross bar and into the net. Blast solidified their second win of the weekend, 2:0 over Fire.

Under-17
National League action resumes Friday, March 13 – Sunday, March 15 at Bettye Wilson Soccer Complex in Las Vegas, Nev.
